Danae Hernandez Cortes
Danae Hernandez Cortes is a third year Ph.D. student in Economics and a Graduate Student Researcher at the emLab. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Economics from the Center for Research and Teaching in Economics (CIDE) at Mexico City. Her research interests include environmental economics and natural resource economics, with an emphasis on applied work. Her current research studies property rights and adaptation to climate change in agriculture. Danae has also worked analyzing the vulnerability to natural disasters and the impacts of weather shocks on labor allocation, schooling, and migration.
